- The role of a Web Producer is to facilitate the technical and content tasks for internal and external websites. This role will produce and deliver high quality content implementations for clients. The content solutions will be derived through collaboration with internal teams, Web Strategy Analysts, Web Design and business owners. Essential Duties Communication Management: Communicate with the business and project stakeholders regarding content changes, project complications, and deliverables. Communicate with internal project teams to identify technical issues, changes, quality standards, and recommend content enhancements that guide long-term efficiencies. Implement the tactical aspects defined by the business requirements into actionable web-based content solutions. Responsible for implementing day-to-day content changes on internal and external systems. Duties: Complete the creative/content tickets that have been assigned to the team. Work in collaboration with Senior Web Producers, Web Strategy Analysts, Interactive Design, and business owners to implement the best case user experience on web-based projects. Facilitates the completion of technical and content updates produced by ticket requests and generated needs from Website analytics. Maintain content standards that work in conjunction with the standards set for graphic production, usability, and system architecture. Maintains and supports innovative web-based solutions that increase business and operational results while driving efficiencies in long-term maintenance. Responsible for upholding content and graphical production standards. Reports to a supervisor and or manager. Analyze and recommend ideas for driving best practices, quality standards, production efficiencies, and long-term solutions. Job Skills Understanding of webpage content, layout, and content usability. Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager, a plus. Strong skill in judgment, proactive feedback, and team collaboration to plan and accomplish goals. Understanding of content management systems and organization, a plus. Conceptual knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and JavaScript a plus. Work Experience 3 - 5 years experience in content management, web production and CMS. Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field or equivalent work experience required. Other Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro. In accordance with ADA policies, reasonable accommodations regarding travel limitations can be provided. Travel will be more common for roles such as Account Executives (25 - 50%), senior leaders (10 – 20%) or Capella Core Faculty (5 – 10%). Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location (in a typical office environment) may be required based on role. If so, this would include being mobile within the office, including movement from floor-to-floor using elevators or stairs. If offsite or hybrid role, must have access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role (including privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to video conference, etc.) at a remote location. Faculty and Federal Work Study roles require access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role (including computer, privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to video conference, etc.) at a remote location. This role may require lifting, however reasonable accommodations will be provided in accordance with our ADA policies. Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem solving aspects aligned to job duties, as well as effectively communicating with co-workers. Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant. Accommodations related to schedule may be considered. Able to access information using a computer.
