**Overview:**

Join our team as a Circulation Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting library operations and assisting patrons with their circulation needs.

**Duties:**

- Assist patrons with checking materials in and out using the integrated library system

- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues related to circulation

- Troubleshoot software-related problems for patrons using library computers

- Help computerize library records and maintain accurate data entry

- Support cataloging efforts by organizing and shelving materials

- Conduct research, write reports, and assist with various administrative tasks as needed

**Qualifications:**

- A high school diploma is required; a college degree and relevant work experience are preferred.

- The required abilities are computer skills, customer service skills, dependability, friendliness, willingness to learn new skills, patience, and the ability to work with the public. A knowledge of library automation systems is preferred.

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift

• Weekends as needed
