The County Federal Credit Union is hiring for a Full Time Loan Officer in our Houlton branch!

The Loan Officer is responsible for originating loans by meeting with potential borrowers to determine appropriate product, obtain proper documentation and follow through with the entire loan process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage members through the entire loan process, from data collection and analysis through loan conclusion while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Collect and analyze information regarding member income, assets, investments and debts.
• Set proper member expectations and provide timely status updates to ensure a positive member experience.
• Build network and community relationships. Generates new mortgage business through approved promotional activities and expands new mortgage customer relationships through self-generated leads.
• Counsels and explains products, rates, terms, and payment amounts to members; provides necessary information, analysis, and comparisons to assist applicants with application process and to make sound financial decisions that are in applicant’s best interest.
• Adheres to all Bank policies and procedures.
