Seeking a full-time leasing manager for a LIHTC mixed property in the Sand Springs/ Tulsa area. The proper candidate for this position would play a large role in the operational day to day of the property and have the ability to execute contracts with professionalism, communicate with other staff and residents and have knowledge or experience in leasing.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process from initial contact with providing proper forms and paperwork to lease signing
- Utilize property management software such as OneSite to maintain accurate tenant records
- Conduct property tours and highlight key features to potential tenants
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants
- Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting unit inspections
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new tenants
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to leasing and property management
Skills:
- Proficiency in property management software like OneSite (will train but must be a fast leaner)
- Knowledge of section 8 or LIHTC
- Strong file management skills for maintaining accurate records
- Ability to draft and negotiate contracts effectively
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle tenant issues diplomatically
- Strong administrative skills for managing lease agreements and documentation
- Upselling abilities to promote additional services or upgrades to tenants
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices for addressing tenant maintenance requests promptly
- Understanding of legal administrative procedures related to leasing and property management
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for prospective tenants
