Lease Administrator prepares leases/subleases and other related documents. Maintains and updates the lease activities in a database. Being a Lease Administrator maintains relationship with the landlords and occupants. Ensures accuracy of documents and financial records. Additionally, Lease Administrator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Lease Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Growing commercial real estate property management company is seeking an individual to fill a Lease Administrator position. A full time and part time position is available.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Abstract critical lease data into a lease management system
- Track Certificates of Insurance for vendors and ownership
-Onboard landlords into the vendor management system, process all required forms.
- Monthly review, auditing, and processing of lease payment obligations such as rent, utilities, operating expenses, and miscellaneous expenses
- Respond to and resolve internal and external inquiries about rent payments, vendor onboarding, and other lease-related issues
- Track critical dates to ensure renewal and termination options are exercised timely
- Research and resolve A/R and A/P
- Code invoices in Nexus
- Draft new vendor contracts, and correspondence to include tenant notices.
- Update and maintain data in the lease administration system
- Process and code internal credit card reports
- Administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Experience:
-1 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: lease administration, accounting, vendor management, or contract administration.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, record keeping, and file management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that has a high degree of ambiguity
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately review and analyze documents
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong self-drive to meet deadlines and provide timely responses with minimal direction
