Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender sets-up and operates a conditioner machine that semi-dries and untangles flatwork. Prepares clothing articles for ironing. Being a Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender may require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service. The attendant also receives orders via walk-in or driver. The attendant is responsible for keeping orders organized and separate with a numbering system.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month’s related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience preferred but not necessary.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Bilingual. Someone who can understand and speak Spanish and English is a plus.
