Landscape Architect Manager jobs in Texas
Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Landscape Architect Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a proven Senior Landscape Architect. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading design and documentation production, and mentoring junior staff. They will collaborate with staff and other consultants to develop innovative and sustainable designs and ensure the successful implementation of our projects.
Qualifications
- Landscape Planning and Design skills including hardscape construction
- Experience in commercial landscape architecture design practice
- Ability to create complete and accurate hardscape and planting plans
- Strong knowledge of native and adapted plants and their suitability for different environments
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture

- Base Salary commensurate with skills and experience
