The Leidos Intelligence Group has an exciting opportunity in Washington, DC. The LAN/WAN Engineer will be part of an elite team of IT professionals to helping maintain and secure the enterprise environment for the Intelligence customer. Various experience needed, from mid to senior.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter
• Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives. Expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management).
• Perform highly specialized and technical tasks associated with the most current and cutting-edge technologies
• May serve as a technical consultant to a project or several projects dealing with area of technical expertise Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification
• Seasoned technical contributor
• Works independently with limited supervision
• May manage projects / processes
• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex
• Influences others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Desired Education: High School/GED 11 Yrs, or Associates 9 Yrs, or Bachelors 7 Yrs, or Masters 5 Yrs, or PhD 3 Yrs
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community programs
