We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. As a Cabinet Painter/Finisher, you will be responsible for surface preparation; applying stains, paints, and tops coats to a variety of woods and veneers; color matching; using and maintaining a spray booth. When the workload dictates, or when finishing is not required, the Cabinet Finisher must be willing to assist in cabinet production and other tasks as may be assigned. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in all aspects of finishing, with an emphasis on quality and consistency.
The Cabinet Painter/Finisher must be responsible for knowing and practicing safe working methods. Must have a strong knowledge of shop practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, including cleaning and required maintenance, quality control and safety equipment. Must also have knowledge of Regulatory Compliance; knowledge regarding hazardous air pollutants, VOCs, hazardous waste accumulation and removal processes; booth filter change and log policies and requirements; respirator fit testing; inspection policies and requirements.
