    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning and Management:

    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
    • Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.

    Team Leadership and Coordination:

    • Lead and coordinate the efforts of the Senior Developer and Database Administrator teams.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them resolve technical and operational challenges.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
    • Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor risk factors and implement contingency plans as necessary.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
    • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

    Requirements Qualifications:

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of Seven (7) years of experience in IT project management.
    • Proven experience leading technical teams, particularly those working with mainframe IDMS and COBOL.
    • Must have project Lifecyle experience, some level of mainframe experience.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience with Endevor.
    • Experience in a government or defense-related environment.

    Education:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
    • Experience in modernization of a system, most likely financial system.

    Preferred:

    • Advanced degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
