IT Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of long-term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Being an IT Project Engineer develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. Additionally, IT Project Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Job Description--
· Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required. Installation Technicians will typically un-box and install kit to desk and connect peripherals, connect power cables, and perform any relevant power on self-tests. Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration can also be included.
· An Installation Technician will also physically connect network cables from desktop clients to associated network points where required.
· Installation Technicians do not provide hardware component installations, software configuration or technical troubleshooting services.
· The Installation Technician Service can be utilized within the overall design of a project rollout solution, for on-site desktop move requirements, technical call logging functions, on-site peripheral consumable maintenance and other functions.Why Choose Merge IT?
