IT Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of long-term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Being an IT Project Engineer develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. Additionally, IT Project Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Job Description

Walmart's Health & Wellness division is looking for an SCCM Engineer to join their growing team. The main goal of this team is to deliver top-tier installations for every application. Currently, they go to the clinic and someone manually installs each medical application on the PC and connects it to the clinical devices. It currently takes hours for each install, and no two are the same. They need to mature their process to have applications installed and documented. Once that's completed, this person will perform silent installs or image snapping to help speed up their process and make everything uniform throughout the environment.
This person will have a computer that connects to a medical device (X-Ray machine, EKG, dental device, lab device, etc.) and they'll be responsible for working with the vendor to make sure that the application can install to the medical device within Walmart's compliance standards. These are complex implementations which include working heavy work with SCCM or Intune. Once the application is built and packaged, it will be handed off to the testing team for validation.
