Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Control –Manager to join our Manufacturing Facility based in Paris, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and executing production schedules to maximize customer satisfaction, achieve “on time” shipments, and meet department goals and objectives. NAL will provide relocation assistance to anyone outside of the Paris, IL area.
Your Priorities
While working within the fast paced, automotive environment, you will supervise, direct, and monitor the PC planners to ensure they maintain their master schedule and order releases for assigned production lines to support customer requirements
Supervise cycle counters and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy, monitor accuracy of inventory records, and initiate required corrective actions
Monitor status of purchase parts and communicate any changes to purchasing department
Review, implement, and monitor ECRs in order to minimize obsolescence and maintain inventory accuracy
Ensure consistent application of good fundamental production control concepts and practices to support facility’s total manufacturing process
Your BackgroundBachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing, or a related disciple plus 8 to 10 years of production control experience
(APICS certification is preferred)
