**Job Title: Controller**
A dynamic and analytically driven Controller is needed to enhance our client's finance department. This role will primarily focus on managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA, possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, and have a solid background in controllership, financial management, and reporting. Please note that this is not a remote position.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement internal controls to manage financial data, focusing on inventory, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
- Lead the transition from a cash-based accounting system to accrual accounting using GAAP standards and oversee the migration from a legacy ERP system to NetSuite.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team and supervise direct accounting reports on all financial tasks.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports to the leadership team.
- Coordinate estimated tax payments and manage annual tax filings.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- CPA Certification
- 10 years of experience in controllership or accounting
- Experience managing direct reports
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with inventory management and Microsoft Suite
- Proficiency in NetSuite preferred
- Salary range: $140k to $160k
