Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Controller to lead our financial operations. As a strategic and process-driven professional, you will play a pivotal role in managing our accounting functions, overseeing a team of onshore and offshore team members, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. Your expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and team management will be instrumental in driving our company's financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing and executing the monthly financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and variance analysis.
- Managing accounting for multiple legal entities and analyzing operational performance.
- Supervising and developing offshore accounting team members, including coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Analyzing data to ensure accurate capitalization of fixed assets and correct revenue/COGS reporting.
- Collaborating closely with the operations team and other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assisting in the preparation and review of work papers for annual audits and facilitating the audit process.
- Developing strong relationships with internal and external auditors.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business.
- CPA certification or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is beneficial.
- Experience in a managerial role, with a track record of managing and motivating a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing a remote team.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
