IT Contracts Manager jobs in North Carolina

IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.   • About the Role:

    The IT BRM will liaise between IT and the business to help understand their technology needs. You will work with a department, developing deep institutional knowledge and helping map requirements and processes to IT architecture.

    You will help prioritize tech-enabled projects, ensuring return on investment is realized and is aligned with the Association's Strategy. You will report to the Sr. Manager - IT Business Relationship Management.

    Role Requirements:

    • Guide communication between IT and internal groups to understand their technology needs and issues.

    • Obtain an understanding of relevant business area(s) to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.

    • Be a lead for strategic IT programs for the department.

    • Establish a communication methodology for efficient organizational communication.

    • Create artifacts, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and process flow.

    • Use techniques to understand requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.

    • Shape requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions

    • Support delivery teams as they develop, test, and deploy solutions.

    • Lead small projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects.

    • Promote a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to junior level analysts.

    • Address vendor and client complaints respectfully and promptly and demonstrate the value of IT services and capabilities.

    You Have:

    ●      Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience).

    ●      3 years of experience in business analysis.

    ●      Business analysis certification or similar

    ●      Professional certification in project management with experience in "waterfall" and "agile" methodologies preferred
