IT Contracts Manager jobs in Kansas

IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     • Conduct contractor audits, (suitability, competence etc)
    • Update all relevant information on our database
    • Effective cost management throughout repair phase, utilising Symbility tool.
    • Support for engineering and upskilling to the engineering role


    Your Skills:

    • Exceptional behaviours to support the business and the team and working towards our shared goals
    • Understanding of the insurance industry (perils, hazards, loss assessors, loss adjusters, underwriters intermediaries, actuaries, NHBC etc)
    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory matters
    • Experience within construction and different repair methods, both technical and commercial
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Can evaluate facts and recommend decisions
    • Good time management skills and able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines
    • Attention to detail
    • Able to influence and obtain agreement where required.
