IT Capacity Planner, Sr. jobs in Minnesota
IT Capacity Planner, Sr. evaluates the organization's data processing and storage needs and develops long-term plans to meet business requirements. Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Being an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. documents problems and solutions and serves as the point of contact for network capacity related issues. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Role Overview
As a Vendor Capacity Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and implementing programs that encompass multiple cross-functional projects. Your mission? Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is a remote role based in the United States, with proximity to either Shoreview, Minnesota, or Indianapolis, Indiana.
What You'll Do
Lead various cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Establish project performance goals and develop timelines.
Identify, track, and resolve project issues.
Monitor and communicate project status to the team.
Manage project budget and conduct research and analysis.
Mitigate project risks and identify alternative solutions.
Share team learnings to enhance project success.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members.
What You Need
To Excel In This Role, You'll Need The Following
Proficiency in schedule management and scope management.
Experience in project resource management.
Strong skills in issue and risk management.
Business acumen and customer focus.
Financial understanding for better decision-making.
Ability to manage complexity and prioritize tasks effectively.
Conflict resolution and effective communication skills.
Qualifications
College or university degree required.
Relevant work experience, including team leadership.
Knowledge of supplier management processes is a plus.
Compensation And Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $114,400 to $171,600, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Health/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and more.
