    This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead analytical tasks for a diverse portfolio of high-quality office and multifamily assets. As a valued member of our team, you'll have the chance to collaborate closely with Senior Management, identifying and implementing process enhancements, and contributing to various asset management and consulting projects.

    Position Description

    As a Real Estate Asset Management Analyst, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Developing and maintaining cash flow valuation models using Argus and Excel, conducting periodic hold/sell analyses.
    • Reviewing and analyzing proposed leasing transactions, providing insights into tenant credit worthiness, and summarizing contract terms.
    • Offering oversight and guidance to property management teams to ensure accuracy in management information, including rent rolls and financial statements.
    • Analyzing historical and current financial statements, budgets, and reforecasts for variances and trends.
    • Reviewing property management and construction management fee calculations, as well as brokerage commission calculations.
    • Conducting thorough market research and analysis related to operational metrics, such as rent levels and competitive performance.
    • Creating sensitivity and scenario analyses to support redevelopment decisions.
    • Assisting with acquisitions, financing activities, and dispositions through cash flow modeling, valuation, due diligence, and Q&A.
    • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive data records for all client properties, including document filing and tagging.
    • Coordinating materials for third-party service providers for annual appraisals.
    • Crafting written narratives and financial presentations for management and investor reporting purposes.
    • Providing support to the Asset Management team on special projects.

    Educational & Professional Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 2 years of commercial or multifamily real estate experience with a focus on finance or accounting preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including model building, and familiarity with Argus strongly preferred.
    • Experience with software such as Yardi or Kardin is advantageous.

    • Proficiency in financial statement analysis, real estate accounting, valuation principles, and budgeting processes.
    • Strong analytical, accounting, and critical thinking skills.

    • Capacity to ask thoughtful questions and probe for relevant information.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
    • Collaborative nature with the ability to work effectively in teams and across departments.
    • Comfortable with technology for collaboration, communication, and documentation purposes.

    Reporting & Collaboration Responsibilities

    This position reports to the Director of Asset Management and involves daily collaboration with the broader asset management team, as well as regular interaction with client accounting and property-level teams.

    Travel

    Travel may be required to serve client assets and maintain market knowledge.

    Salary Range

    The salary range for this position is $85,000-$115,000 per year, dependent on experience and skills.
