DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Conduct investment reviews with clients to validate the clients’ current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products. Provide clients with institutional service, advice, and cross asset class execution including equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives, and offer recommendations according to changing market conditions. Analyze, construct and manage investment portfolios, advising clients on asset allocation, tactical trading, and portfolio rebalancing and hedging strategies. Develop investment policy statements and advise on asset allocation. Act as a primary resource for investment communication. Build working relationships with internal clients. Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct. Support coordination of sales effort with Lending Advisors, Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors. Responsible for coverage of UHNW Asian clients in US and Asia while adhering to the cross- border regulations of local Asian jurisdictions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Financial Math, Finance, Capital Markets, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Specialist, Global Investment Associate/Officer, Financial Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Bloomberg; FactSet; Microsoft Suite; Financial data analysis and portfolio analytics; Global macroeconomics and financial market dynamics in the developed markets and emerging Asian markets; Global capital markets; Multi-assets in equities, fixed income, derivatives, real assets, hedge funds, private equity, private credit, private real estate and other alternative investments; Private bank or wealth management; Tactical and strategic asset allocation; Portfolio rebalancing and portfolio construction; Investment management for ultra-high-net-worth clients, with portfolio size of at least $25mm; Financial planning and estate planning; Goals based planning using Monte Carlo Simulation and Long Term Capital Market Assumptions; Concentrated stocks and employee options; Portfolio risk management; US and cross-border Asia ultra-high-net-worth clients in wealth management.
