Investment Specialist analyzes and researches financial markets, securities, and investment products to assess risks, evaluate potential returns, and make informed investment decisions for an organization. Collects and researches economic data, financial metrics, and market conditions to develop and build financial models, forecasts, and investment strategies. Being an Investment Specialist monitors and analyzes portfolio performance, asset allocation, and risk exposure to ensure alignment with the organization's investment objectives, strategies, and risk tolerance levels. Prepares investment reports and analyses on investment opportunities or strategies to identify trends and recommend actions for the organization. Additionally, Investment Specialist utilizes mathematical formulas and statistical analyses to identify potential or alternative investments and calculate and evaluate financial health, returns, and fair value of securities, assets, or other investments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Investment Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. You will identify business development opportunities, as well as manage relationships with the firms’ research groups, by analyzing, identifying, and recommending investment strategies. “I am the person Capital Group is looking for.” •You will partner closely with the Relationship Manager to build and maintain relationships with strategic intermediaries by developing & executing business plans, delivering traditional and nontraditional resources and proactively engaging clients •You will represent CG by meeting with home office research clients and prospects virtually and in person by traveling up to 25% •You will represent intermediary firm views to the broader CG organization by sharing alignment of opportunities and firm priorities through researching and analysis of investment results, industry trends and firm-specific business models/priorities •You will provide premier service to home office research clients by managing key deliverables and lead the coordination of Requests for Information (RFI)/Requests for Proposals (RFP) from assigned intermediaries •You demonstrate working knowledge of compliance/regulatory requirements •You hold the in-depth knowledge of investment analysis/financial analysis as acquired through CIMA, CFA, and/or CFP Note: You must hold and or obtain within the first 90 days of employment the SIE, Series 7, 63/65, or 66 Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158 San Antonio Base Salary Range: $96,162-$153,859 New York Base Salary Range: $123,999-$198,398 Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $102,428-$163,885 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
