Inventory Control Supervisor jobs in North Carolina

The Inventory Control Supervisor, reporting to the Director of Distribution will manage inventory through established database and maintain levels required daily to meet distribution demand. This position manages the day to day inventory control activities of the distribution center to ensure compliance and accuracy in all inventory control practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Inventory Control team by assigning tasks and developing the team through performance management and training
• Manage all aspects of inventory control, which includes researching inventory discrepancies and directing product rotation.
• Evaluate workflow trends and report potential risks and concerns
• Partner with Director of Distribution to develop action plans that promote continuous process improvements, foster best practices and that promote the Distribution Center's goals.
• Oversee the release of products to vendors, 3PL, and distribution center, including inventory accuracy, correct paperwork, and efficient loading.
• Create and maintain a cycle count program that counts 100% of inventory X times annually
• Prepare reports for cycle count. Perform cycle counts. Coordinate others to perform cycle counts
• Perform annual inventory audit to assess product count for the NCDC warehouse

Education and Qualifications:

• 5 years of inventory management experience or combination of education and leadership experience

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays

• 3 years of supervisor experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations; prefer wholesale/e-commerce experience
• Lead a team of up to ten inventory employees.
• At least 3 years of supervisor experience within Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment

• Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes.
• Ability to perform inventory control and inventory audits
• Must be able to work with ERP systems
