    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage various scheduling strategies through best practices, understanding their impacts on multiple business operations and efficiencies
    • Manage vendor performance through team documentation and tracking of issues
    • Oversee resale purchasing management to ensure best practices and processes are
    • Implemented
    • Conduct purchasing for resale and develop a strategic plan to optimize the process
    • Optimize inventory processes to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize losses, and conduct
    • root cause analysis for discrepancies
    • Streamline system processes, ensure accurate Gener Ledger entries, and deliver the highest
    • level of customer service, coordinating cross-functionally as needed
    • Supervise direct reports, demonstrating strong leadership skills in managing team dynamics
    • and personal accountability
    • Apply knowledge of inventory management processes and procedures, making continuous
    • improvements and proposing efficiency enhancement
    • Engage actively in hands-on tasks and decision-making processes
    • Manage the hiring and personnel transitions within the department including delivering
    • annual reviews and addressing disciplinary issues
    • Create and manage purchase orders on products for resale
    • Address and resolve inventory discrepancies and provide transactional guidance to team members to deliver reliable inventory quantities
    • Develop and oversee cycle counting operations, assist in semi-monthly inventory tasks, and
    • lead annual physical inventory
    • Build strong relationships with all team members and external contacts to enhance collaboration and speed of trust

    This is a full-time, on-site position requiring weekend availability, based out of Coshocton, OH. Relocation package available.

    You'll need to work fully on-site to get a deep understanding of our operations, with the potential to switch to hybrid work after year 1.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    • 5 years of experience in inventory control management, including scheduling, purchase orders, and product line management
    • People leadership experience
    • Experience managing a SKU count of at least 10,000
    • Proficient in computer usage, with high-level Excel skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience

    Preferred

    • Manufacturing or similar industry experience
    • ASCM/APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
    • Supply chain management experience

    Desired

    • Sage or JD Edwards ERP experience
