SUMMARY
Compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compiles data from sources such as forecasts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
Creates and helps implement stock build outs.
Notifies purchasing of stock shortages and overages to maintain the most cost efficient inventory level possible and avoid stock outs or obsolete inventory.
Monitors inventory in AX to move transitional items to Discontinued as they reach 0 inventory and report accordingly.
Performs data entry into AX for new item set ups (NISU) and assigns UPC numbers to all new products. Maintains records accordingly for both.
Tracks all changes made to item masters in AX.
Posts (processes) production orders in AX to deduct materials consumed in production each day.
Confirms inventory on-hand in production partial staging area before sending materials back to the warehouse.
Creates necessary pallet transports in AX to signal forklift drivers to move pallets from one area or location to another (throughout the warehouse as well as into and out of the production area).
Conducts warehouse cycle counts for all inventoried items and makes inventory adjustments in AX to reconcile inventory by location as needed or as scheduled by Department Supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
