Radiological Technologist/Multi-Modality
Wickenburg Community Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Radiological Technologist with current CT certification. All candidates will be a multi-modality candidate performing imaging in diagnostic radiography and CT. MRI candidate must also be a Rad Tech and a CT Tech. As a hospital that promotes professional and personal development, multi-modality technologists are a staple in the WCH Imaging department.
This position performs medical imaging examinations on patients as prescribed by the provider to provide high quality imaging studies regarding patient condition for diagnostic purposes.
This position is a full-time position that will at times require night, weekends, and holidays with a requirement to perform exams in multi-modalities during the course of the shift.
Essential Job Duties:
· Radiology Technologist reviews studies for clarity and accuracy
· May take additional imaging to assist the Radiologist
· Completes all necessary documentation and consents to complete the timely interpretation of all studies.
· Proficiency in EHR, PACS, VNA
· Other duties involve office, non-office and file functions to maintain an efficient office environment for patient and physician needs.
· Perform exams in multi-modalities
Other Duties:
· Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident
· Assures continuity of services and care
· Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned
· Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Graduation from an accredited school program in Radiological Technology
· Registered with the ARRT in Radiological Technology and CT.
· Licenses with AZ Health Department in Radiology and CT.
· Registered with the ARRT or ARMRIT in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
· CPR at time of hire.
· Must have availability 7 days a week to cover shifts on extremely short notice
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, and squatting; must be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the work day. May be subjected to offensive odors. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to work paying close attention to detail with frequent interruptions.
