We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent International Logistics Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a variety of tasks related to international logistics, management, project coordination, and shipment tracking. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and has a proven track record in managing complex logistics operations.
This is a full time onsite position working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities- Supervisor international logistics staff
- Coordinate and manage international shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Utilize shipment tracking systems to monitor and report on the status of deliveries.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including costs, delivery times, and any issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to international shipping.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify potential risks or problems in the logistics process and develop effective solutions.
- Provide regular reports to management on shipping activities and operational performance.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an International Logistics Management role
- CSA/World-Trak proficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing effective solutions to logistical challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with clients and vendors
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to international shipping
- Strong Customer service skills
