Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

• Plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the Human Resources function including: recruitment, orientation, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and policy development/administration.
• Reviews and makes recommendations for the improvement of the organization's policies and procedures.
• Manages the payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis
• Maintains knowledge of Human Resources trends and employment legislation and ensures compliance.
• Demonstrates leadership ability in providing direction, supervision and support to management staff.
• Communicates to staff any changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures.
• Provides clear and concise direction and oversight of employee relations matters including investigative processes, corrective actions and training.
• Responsible for providing coaching, training and guidance to the management team regarding effective and positive employee relations.

Education and Training Human Resources Manager:

• 3 years of experience leading the human resources functions in fast paced environment.
• 4 year college degree preferred
• Long Term Care background preferred but not required.
