The Internal Communications Specialist(s) is responsible for hospital internal communications, strategies and implementation, with an emphasis on internal employee engagement to increase awareness of issues, protocols, events, trainings, etc. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and development of an effective and proactive internal communications program within Craig Hospital, including the development and maintenance of internal communications platforms/tools.

This is a hybrid position that requires you to live in the Denver Metro area.
Licensure/Certification/Registrations: Must have a current, valid Colorado driver's license in good standing and insurable.
Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications or related field. Must have experience planning and producing electronic and verbal communications, designing print and digital materials, managing intranet sites and internal platforms, and event planning. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Skills & Abilities: Excellent organization and customer service skills. Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and prioritize and schedule accordingly. Must be able to successfully and effectively communicate with a variety of personnel, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively and successfully as a member of a team as well as independently. Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines, while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Must be creative, flexible and organized. Ability to present self in a personable and professional manner. Work collaboratively with other departments and physicians. Able to gather collate, or classifying information about data, people, or things. Able to report and/or carrying out a prescribed action in relation to the information. Ability to effectively work with others in collaborative manner to achieve desired multimedia productions. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, use of hardware/software: PC/Windows, Apple/Mac, Adobe Creative Suite.
