The Production Manager is responsible for daily operations on the productions floor, supporting training of Production Supervisors and Team Leads, new hires, safety initiatives, managing supplies and equipment needs of department while achieving shipments and production goals. Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities and is a management role which requires the individual to work with a level of autonomy, monitor the work of others with support from SMC leadership.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Hours will vary depending on production needs.
Overtime is as needed; with an expectation of working 45 hours a week.
Travel:
Minimal though some will be required between warehouses and manufacturing facility.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Previous production supervisory experience
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
Knowledge of business operations and production requirements
Basic office equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in an electronic environment
Familiarity with software programs used in this job preferred
