Purpose of Position: Responsible for driving significant growth of domestic and international business through identification and capture of new business opportunities and customers. Primary point of contact for Trilliums key customers and responsible for relationship management and development with current and new customers.
Applicants willing to relocate to Hood River, Oregon, or located to work remotely in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Texas, or Washington DC are preferred. Remote workers will be required to regularly travel to Hood River, Oregon.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
• Develop domestic and international opportunities, strategies, and initiatives to drive significant growth. Effectively implement and execute strategies.
• Develop relationships with domestic end customers not currently in Trillium portfolio with a focus on identified customers, including research and development, with Department of Defense.
• Develop relationships and business opportunities with major Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the Unmanned Ariel Vehicle (UAV) space and maintaining a high level of customer intimacy.
• Increase qualified pipeline and close sales opportunities enabling the business to achieve growth objectives.
• Responsible for delivering forecast and exceeding yearly revenue goals.
• Conduct regular meetings with key customer to ensure needs are being met, understanding of forecast, and future opportunities.
• Management of customers throughout the sales cycle ensuring high customer satisfaction rates and retention.
• Oversee and input sales data into customer relationship management (CRM) tools and assist in transmitting the data to leadership to assist in forecasting.
• Collaborate with Program Management and Engineering teams to ensure voice of the customer flow down and investments meet customer needs to achieve high win rates.
• Coordinate, lead, and/or support proposal activities.
• Provide input to marketing campaigns that support strategies and capture initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Programs and Leadership Team.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Masters, preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in Aerospace & Defense. UAV/UAS, Electro-Optical/Infra-Red, preferred.
• Working knowledge of the US Department of Defense and international unmanned systems markets, as well as Aerospace & Defense platform primes.
• Demonstrated track record of winning new business, both domestically and internationally.
• Demonstrated familiarity with US DoD acquisition process and budget.
• Direct experience interacting with customers to define mission needs and translating requirements to engineering and program management teams.
• Experienced in Sales forecasting, budgeting, capture planning, and proposal development.
• Experience influencing and effectively shaping customer requirements.
• Training in Miller Heiman and/or Shipley processes, preferred.
• Experience in CRM tools, specifically NetSuite CRM or Salesforce.
