Home Health Specialty Services, Inc. is looking for a full time Intake Coordinator to work in our Hamden Office. Must have home care experience in the Intake Department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- accepts referrals from discharge planners, physicians, community sources, marketing staff
- interprets and explains coverage and services to prospective clients
- organizes client medical record with all intake documents for the Case Manager
- enters referral source demographics into computer system
- updates MD license number, UPIN and NPI information
Qualifications:
- knowledgeable in Medicare, Medicaid and commercial Insurance
- excellent communication skills
- use good telephone etiquette
