Part-time K-6 Music Instructor for 2024-2025 School Year

St. Mary School, located in Aberdeen, WA, has an opening for a part-time K-6th grade Music Instructor. This position seeks candidates with experience working with a wide age range of students in a classroom setting involving music instruction.
The position begins with the opening of the academic school year 2024-25 and is not benefit eligible.
Responsibilities :
communicates with homeroom teacher individual student’s progress.
Schedule : To be determined and mutually agreed upon by employee and administration. Current music instruction occurs on Thursdays and the position is currently operating at 9 hours per week.

Qualifications
Qualifications :
Knowledge of music instruction / curriculum and the ability to implement it
Extended experience working with and instructing elementary aged children
Evidence of ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and
administration.
Evidence of excellent oral and written skills.
Must pass background check and take Safe Environment class.
Practicing Catholic (preferred, but not required)
