Summary of Position:
We are seeking an_ environmental scientist with at least three (3) years of experience_. This person will help our environmental team with a variety of field investigations, sampling of various media, permitting and report generation support. As a full-time position, this individual should have a focus in environmental sciences or environmental engineering with an understanding of environmental permitting, site assessments and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail orientated, work independently, have excellent written and verbal communication and work collaboratively with other team members internally and externally.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s).
• Support stream and wetland delineations.
• Perform project sampling.
• Completes project data entry, analyses and reporting.
• Interpret and record data, compare findings with local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Works cooperatively with project managers, office personnel and other field staff.
• Balance working in the field 80% and office 20%.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or other related Physical Science.
• At least three (3) years of environmental experience from schooling or work related activities.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Ability to work in all types of outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift, carry and load field equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Work long hours, weekends and shift work if needed.
