Being an Instructor - English provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - English typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate students to love learning and excel in the English language. Enriching the college experience for High School level students.

    Responsibilities:
    - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum guidelines
    - Instruct students on English composition one and two as well as writing.
    - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
    - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. - Promote an environment consistent with the core values of WSU

    Qualifications:
    - Master’s degree in English, Education, or related field
    - Proven experience as an English Teacher or similar role
    - Strong knowledge of English literature and grammar
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to inspire and motivate students
    - Familiarity with educational technology tools and software

    Nice-to-Have Skills:
    - Experience teaching English as a second language (ESL)
    - Advanced degree in English or Education
    - Participation in professional development workshops or courses
    - Familiarity with diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. - Experience educating/tutoring High School students.
