Instructor - Accounting jobs in Connecticut
Instructor - Accounting teaches courses in the discipline area of accounting. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Accounting provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Accounting typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Ledgent is now hiring for a AP / AR Specialist to join a growing accounting team in North Haven! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, perfect for a numbers-driven, focused, collaborative individual looking to make their next career move! Position is fully on-site paying between $25-28 / hourly!
Responsibilities :
- Weekly check runs
- Investigate & resolve vendor issues promptly
- Analyze AR aging reports & resolve discrepancies
Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of experience in AP / AR
- Bachelors degree in accounting / finance or equivalent experience
- Proficient in ERP systems & Excel
