Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor jobs in Colorado
Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor supervises the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor schedules and coordinates installation support and service operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. - Utilize motorized equipment handling machinery to safely load/unload equipment.
- Assist in securing loads.
- Ensure yard and loading areas are clear of debris and trash and equipment is organized and easy to access.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures.
- Travels locally as needed to assist with mobilization/demobilization of systems on customer job sites.
- Assists in connecting pipes, setting pumps, and dismantling equipment/accessories when the project is complete.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience in a hands-on, field-based (i.e., outdoor) position
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment and/or machinery preferred
- Valid drivers license with good driving record; Class A or B CDL license preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally as needed
- Ability to read, write legibly and communicate effectively
- Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
