Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. The Installation Technician in this role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining DAS systemswithin commercial and residential buildings.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail,and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment.
Ability to use a computer and / or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily.
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces.
