Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in machining, injection mold making and be proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain precision molds for injection molding operations.
- Design, build, and maintain end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, and automation equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop high-quality molds that meet exact specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Utilize advanced machining tools and techniques to create precise mold components.
- Implement tooling improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement engineering changes.
- Perform or oversee preventative maintenance of molds and tooling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Mold Maker in an injection molding environment.
- Proficiency in SurfCAM and Autodesk software for CAD/CAM operations.
- Skilled in operating precision measuring tools to ensure the highest accuracy.
- Strong understanding of mold design and mold maintenance.
- Expertise in operating CNC machinery, including CNC mills, wire EDM, and EDM sinker, as well as manual machining equipment.
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding, as well as laser welding.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
