Summary:

My client is seeking an experienced IT Manager with a strong background in network security, cybersecurity, server management, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading an IT team, managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and implementing effective IT solutions to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security and cybersecurity systems to protect company data and assets.
• Manage and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and develop strategic solutions to support business objectives.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize IT operations.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in network security, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in IT management roles, with a focus on network security, cybersecurity, server management, and IT infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers to deliver innovative IT solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of network security and cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption, etc.
• Experience with server management, including virtualization, cloud services, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, CCNP, etc., preferred.
