Summary:

IT Generalist is essential for designing, implementing, and maintaining information technology systems. This involves troubleshooting technical problems, optimizing current systems, and ensuring smooth operations. The role is vital for the continuous and efficient functioning of technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the organization.
• Ensuring the seamless operation of servers, networks, and other essential components.
• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems (such as Windows/Linux) and application software.
• Implementing system management tools to enhance performance.
• Creating and implementing backup and redundancy strategies to ensure system reliability.
• Developing and maintaining custom scripts to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.
• Providing second and third-level support to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in IT systems administration or system engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, computer science, or a related field is highly desired but not required.
• Any relevant IT certifications are highly valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Excellent time management capabilities.
• Expertise in computer hardware and software systems.
• Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical employees.
