The Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is looking for an Area Information Technology Director to join the team to also oversee and be on the pre-opening team of the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley estimated to open December 2024.
The Area Information Technology Director oversees hotel technical support team(s) at hotels within their defined area (Area), as well as, technical services provided to hotel guests, colleagues, and management for more than one hotel. This role provides leadership regarding the installation, maintenance and reliability of hotel IT hardware and software. The Area Information Technology Director defines processes, procedures, and protocols to ensure the security, structure and integrity of hotel networks and systems. This role is also responsible for ensuring the optimal installation and performance of each hotel’s network/IT infrastructure. The Area Information Technology Director works closely with hotel IT staff in the Area to ensure that the IT initiatives of the hotels they support comply with Hyatt’s standards and technology direction. Overall responsibilities include technical work, customer service, financial management, administrative, operational and other responsibilities as assigned or required.
This role serves IT customers throughout its defined group of hotels and Area, including hotel management, Hyatt colleagues and guests. This role also develops and maintains relationships with Corporate IT resources and IT vendors to improve information flow, share resources and maximize the effectiveness of hotel IT staff within the Area.
Successful candidates will have strong leadership, professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills and a minimum of two years with WAN/LAN infrastructure and property management systems.
The Area Information Technology Director reports directly to the respective Director of Finance for each hotel within the Area.
