Invio Automation’s Solutions division specializes in single-station robotic cells, multi-station fabrication & assembly lines, bonding & welding technologies, vision systems, and packaging process. Application capabilities within our Solutions division include thermal bonding, web handling, force plotting, heat staking, high viscosity pumps, precision dispensing, impulse bag sealing, and needle bending. Invio Automation’s Technologies division includes highly differentiated Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for heavyweight applications, turnkey assembly lines, welding automation, and custom lift-assist & secure tools for safety-critical applications.
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for managing Invio Automation’s multisite information technology (IT) operations. The Director of IT is an executive position that will be part of our Corporate Leadership Team. The Director of IT manages all information technology and computer system activities. This individual proposes, implements, authors, and maintains policies and procedures to support the company's needs amongst multiple locations which includes liaising with other departments and locations to ascertain their technological requirements and developing and implementing solutions that meet these requirements that are aligned with the organization's objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate according to established goals.
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Develop the IT budget in line with corporate goals and cost constraints; identify and deliver return of investment (ROI) for capital expenditures; benchmarks IT total cost of ownership (TCO) to industry and maintain a competitive standing relative to peers.
- Ensure data security, network access and backup systems and maintain company hardware and software programs.
- Responsible for IT system security across all sites which includes secure access to systems and data for employees and third parties; prevention of intrusions and data loss, periodic audit of security and systems to ensure functioning as intended including annual testing of incident response protocols. Develop and implement protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of an emergency or data loss.
- Facilitate IT security audits or investigations.
- Play a key role and be a technical sponsor of ERP implementation across acquisitions as they are integrated
- Proven experience developing highly functional teams with multiple locations.
- Directs, plans, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the activities of the information technology staff including daily operations of the department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Perform server deployments and migration.

A successful IT Director will operate well independently, will provide strategic leadership, and will have excellent technical aptitude as well as superior project and people management skills to ensure smooth, secure, and consistently updated technical operations within the organization.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge with Active Directory and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Experience with Microsoft Product Suite, Office, G-Suite and/or Office 365. Azure AD Connect.
- Experience with configuring and deploying VMware, ESXI 6.5/6.7/7.0.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Labtech and Connect Wise is preferred.
- Experience with deploying/upgrading Windows 10.
- Advanced knowledge of firewalls and wireless access points.
- Experience configuring and deploying HP Aruba switches.
- Ability to troubleshoot advanced networking and server issues.
- Experience with HPE SANS/MSA 2060-2062.
- Knowledge and experience with NIST/CMMC and FAR regulations
- High energy, strong interpersonal skills, able to manage stressful situations with a positive attitude.
- Ability to travel up to 30% annually.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science related major required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
At least ten years of experience managing an IT department.
