    The Role

    The Information Technology & Security Manager (ITSM) provides hands on leadership to the IT team and for developing and maintaining a robust, technically sound IT infrastructure, as well as an achievable Information Security Framework & Program for NuHarbor. The ITSM is accountable for ensuring that their team operates effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner to the best interest of NuHarbor.

    • Oversee and participate in management of company infrastructure, networks, systems, applications, and services, including planning, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Responsible for hiring decisions, team development and performance management for the IT & Systems Administration team.
    • Maintains and supports Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD, Amazon AWS, Atlassian, Adobe, and other applications or IT systems.
    • Manages and assists with IT service desk operations, responding to service requests, as necessary.
    • Manages the lifecycle of computer equipment, ensuring equipment is available for new hires, and is maintained while in service.
    • Monitors performance and utilization of systems to optimize for cost and productivity, and to recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure.
    • Manage security administration of the various application systems, establishing appropriate access control mechanisms to ensure the efficient assignment of permissions based on role.
    • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT and Security needs.
    • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
    • Participate in an information security risk assessment during the Security Assessment and Authorization process.
    • Develop and maintain a robust, technically sound, and achievable Information Security Framework and Program for NuHarbor.
    • Support sustained activities including Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Policy Management, Audit Support, Incident Guidance, Review of Control Performance.
    • Lead the company's Security Committee: Manage the meeting agenda, analyze IT and Security topics that require Steering Committee approval; provide recommendations for matters relating to the company's cybersecurity posture.

    Your foundation. The requirements for this role:

    • Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of experience.
      • Typical Degrees: Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity
    • In lieu of a degree, eight (8) years of experience in a related technology field and relevant industry certifications are required.
    • A minimum of three (3) years of leading and managing teams and technology projects.
    • Experience leading and managing IT projects/programs and rolling out IT solutions spanning multiple technologies and departments.
    • Familiarity and experience working with Cybersecurity frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-181, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, StateRAMP.
    • Demonstrated experience completing vendor assessments.
    • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to different audiences ranging from employee to executive.
    • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, IP telephony solutions.
    • Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to prioritize.
    • Proven knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
    • Must be a Citizen of the United States.
    Additional capabilities that will differentiate you for this role:

    • Palo Alto firewall and Azure administration experience.
    • Experience in an IT services or technology company.
    • Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and mentoring a technical team.
    • Proven experience leading large scale process improvement and change initiatives.
    • Familiarity and experience working with Assessments such as those related to GDPR, HECVAT, WAG.
    • Experience in information security management, security compliance or risk management.
    • CISM or CISSP Certification.
