We have created a best-in-class IT environment to support our business needs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Security Analyst to join our Information Security department. This role will be located at our corporate headquarters office in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and is not a remote opportunity. In this position, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our IT environment, responding to threats, and driving continuous improvement in our security posture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Threat Detection and Response: Leverage advanced security tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.) to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents with precision and urgency.
• Vulnerability Management: Lead the charge in proactively identifying, assessing, and remediating vulnerabilities across our systems and applications, keeping us one step ahead of attackers.
• Security Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on security best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and emerging threat trends.
• Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to critical industry regulations and frameworks, including PCI DSS and SOX, while contributing to the development and maintenance of our security policies and procedures.
• Security Awareness Advocate: Promote a culture of security awareness through engaging training programs and initiatives, empowering employees to be our first line of defense.

Requirements:

• Technical Prowess: Demonstrable experience with a wide range of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, email security, CASB, IAM, endpoint protection, and incident response tools.
• Compliance Acumen: In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and frameworks (PCI DSS, SOX, ISO 2700x, ITIL, COBIT).
• Risk Management Expertise: Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, developing effective treatment strategies.
• Cloud Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices for securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Threat Intelligence: Actively researching and analyzing emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of information security experience, with a strong preference for Big Four or equivalent consulting background.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
