Industrial Engineering Technician jobs in Colorado

As a Shop Technician (also known as CNC Operator, Tool and Die Maker, Welder, Composite Fabricator), you'll be hands-on involved in engineering projects within a team-oriented environment. You'll be consistently using new processes and materials to serve our customers in aerospace, defense, and other industries. Expect to perform fixturing, set ups, and operate CNC machinery to fabricate complex prototype parts, maintain shop equipment and cleanliness, assist in complex assemblies, support engineering tests, and perform first article inspections.

• Associates degree in a technical field (Preferred) or Skilled Trade/Technical Certification or 5 years experience in a related industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in one of the following: CNC Machining, Tool and Die Making, Welding, Composite Fabrication, or Aerospace mechanical systems.
• Ability to read & understand blueprints and technical documents, apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and willingness to learn new skills in composite fabrication, electrical systems, welding, woodworking, additive manufacturing and engineering testing.
