Being an Import/Export Administrator completes any required payment transactions that accompany shipments. Ensures that all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems. Additionally, Import/Export Administrator typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Import/Export Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management.
- Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) License.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Experienced Professional able to work effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies.
- Ability to implement facility and company policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Ensure development, implementation, and review of resident care policies and procedures.
- Facilitate the process of communication between management and staff.
- Maintain and build census in all levels of care.
- Assist with payer mix and admission decisions, to ensure adequate revenue.
- Must be able to problem-solve any concerns raised by residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Ensure the planning, implementation, and evaluation of an emergency program that protects the safety and welfare of residents, visitors, staff, and property.
- Ensure the integration of resident rights with all aspects of the facility environment.
- Ensure that the facility complies with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations (for example, ADA, OSHA, CMS, Life Safety Code).
- Ensure that the facility provides a clean, attractive, and home-like environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
