Hydraulic Technician, Sr. troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and supervisor. Being a Hydraulic Technician, Sr. must be proficient at handling cylinders, pumps, motor and valve components, and with advanced hydraulic systems. Utilizes available resources to conduct technical research. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Airtronics Inc., an Aerospace and Aviation company specializing in the repair, overhaul and manufacture of products in support of the commercial as well as Government clients has an immediate opening on its team for a full time Hydraulic Technician. Hydraulics experience required, Aerospace/Aviation hydraulics experience desired but not required.
The right candidate will be able to, under minimal supervision, perform hydraulic assembly, testing for simple to complex projects per military and commercial aircraft standards using engineering and/or production drawings. Must have sufficient understanding of mechanics and hydraulics to assist with and/or perform assembly testing, in addition to the following:
