Hydraulic Technician, Sr. jobs in Arizona

Airtronics Inc., an Aerospace and Aviation company specializing in the repair, overhaul and manufacture of products in support of the commercial as well as Government clients has an immediate opening on its team for a full time Hydraulic Technician. Hydraulics experience required, Aerospace/Aviation hydraulics experience desired but not required.

The right candidate will be able to, under minimal supervision, perform hydraulic assembly, testing for simple to complex projects per military and commercial aircraft standards using engineering and/or production drawings. Must have sufficient understanding of mechanics and hydraulics to assist with and/or perform assembly testing, in addition to the following:

• Troubleshoot, test and repair hydraulic systems in accordance with applicable data
• Work with Engineering and Repair Administrators to rectify complex technical issues
• Complete required documentation (electronic and manual) of testing and repair procedures
• Builds prototype, production final assemblies and sub-assemblies following verbal direction, prototype drawings and production drawings
• Documents any and all of the changes to achieve ideal hydraulic assembly of a product
• Works closely with all engineering disciplines and test technicians as required to identify and resolve problems

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years' experience in FAA part 145 Operations or aircraft component repair/overhaul or equivalent experience with hydraulics highly desired but will consider two years' experience with Associates degree and other experience with hydraulics as well.
• Knowledge of basic hydraulic theory and circuit schematics
• Skills in testing, troubleshooting, dis-assembly and reassembly of hydraulic equipment
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation including blueprints, manuals, technical specifications
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in repair of hydraulic
• 2 years of Military technician or repair experience or equivalent in hydraulics preferred
• Minimum 5 years in production and assembly and test of hydraulic equipment or related assemblies preferred
