Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. JOB SUMMARY:
The Hydraulic Technician is responsible to inspect hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves for the purpose of rebuild/repair. The successful Hydraulic Technician will have knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components and be familiar with how they work and operate as well as having knowledge of proper testing procedures. The candidate will be responsible for the inspection of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and providing repair solutions. The candidate is responsible to provide a list of necessary parts required to repair the component utilizing the shop software and creating routing for each repair to schedule. The individual will have to use various catalogs and online tools to create a parts list for the repairs.

Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull. Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
