Hydraulic Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and management. Being a Hydraulic Technician must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Airtronics Inc., an Aerospace and Aviation company specializing in the repair, overhaul and manufacture of products in support of the commercial as well as Government clients has an immediate opening on its team for a full time Hydraulic Technician. Hydraulics experience required, Aerospace/Aviation hydraulics experience desired but not required.
The right candidate will be able to, under minimal supervision, perform hydraulic assembly, testing for simple to complex projects per military and commercial aircraft standards using engineering and/or production drawings. Must have sufficient understanding of mechanics and hydraulics to assist with and/or perform assembly testing, in addition to the following:
