Human Resources Supervisor administers human resources policies and programs and directs the human resources staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee productivity and company objectives. Provides day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Supervisor supervises and trains staff that provides operational and administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and other hr functions and programs. Develops consistent and standard procedures to process employment, attendance, and other records and to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Human Resources Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Human Resources Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Human Resources Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.   • Duties

    • Conducts and may lead, program evaluations, staff-assistance visits and internal audits.
    • Performs a variety of audit tasks that require independent application of virtual audit techniques across all operational areas.
    • Analyzes and assesses functional, procedural, technical, and servicing compliance and effectiveness to include processes, data systems, organizational relationships, policies and internal controls.
    • Drafts and prepares final audit reports which include narratives explaining auditor conclusions based on evidentiary support.
    • Serves as an instructor conducting virtual or in-person training on a variety of employment and personnel related topics to HR and management officials.

    Qualifications

    1. Possess twenty-four (24) months of work experience in a human resources office or equivalent which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies: Staffing & Recruitment, Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Training.
    2. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    3. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.
    The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower pay band (NF-03).

    Highly Preferred: In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess twelve (12) months prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in and have successfully completed training in Basic Staffing, Customer Service, Organizational Structure, Basic Writing, and Time Management.
